Law Admission Test (Test)
LAT overview
As per order of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Higher Education Commission (HEC) is conducting Law Admission Test (LAT) for applicants desirous to get admission in five-year undergraduate LLB degree Program in HEC/PBC recognized public and private law colleges and universities.
Who Can Apply for LAT?
- Students who have passed the FA/FSC/ICS/I.COM or A Level;
- Result awaited students who have appeared in the final examination of FA/FSC/ICS/I.COM or A Level
- Passing the LAT requires a minimum mark of 50.
Entry requirement for LLB
Prospective candidates for the LLB program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Intermediate with minimum 45% marks (any group)
- Law admission test (LAT) at least 50%

Generally the Law Admission Test Course is 2 – 3 months long.

Important announcement
The last date to submit your Application with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for the upcoming Law Admission Test (LAT) is October 22, 2024 (4 P.M.)
Note: You must submit your LAT Application with the HEC before October 22, 2024 (4 P.M.), if you wish to appear in the next Law Admission Test. Passing the LAT is a requirement for getting admission into any 5-Year LL.B. Program in Pakistan.
