Program description

Monarch Institute of Science and Technology offers the Bachelor of Science (BS) program in Artificial Intelligence, aligning with the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Undergraduate Education Policy objectives. Our program equips students with a strong foundation in machine learning, data science, and intelligent system principles, integrating competency-based learning, interdisciplinary knowledge, and ethical AI development values. Emphasizing creativity and technological innovation, students gain practical experience through internships and AI-driven projects, preparing them for successful careers in the automation industry or advanced studies. We emphasize professional ethics, effective communication, and lifelong learning, ensuring graduates contribute responsibly to societal and intelligent technological advancements.

Objectives

The Strategic objectives of the BS Artificial Intelligence (AI) program are:

Enlighten students with theoretical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
Enhance the programming skills of students by exposing them to AI-specific languages, framework tools, data models, and intelligent technologies.
Enhance the analytical and problem-solving skills of students to design and optimize automated systems.
Enable students to add fruitful contributions to the field of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing.
Provide students with a combination of core knowledge, hands-on laboratory experience, and application of algorithmic theory to real-world data and automation issues.
Empower students with the future vision, ethical responsibility, and utility of intelligent technologies and autonomous solutions.
Inculcate and enhance research abilities of students in finding innovative solutions using neural networks, predictive analytics, and computer vision.

Entry requirement for BS AI

Eligibility Criteria

For Applicants having 12-year Education

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/12 years education (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level or Equivalent qualification with Mathematics are required for admission.
The students who have not studied Mathematics at Intermediate level have to pass Mathematics deficiency courses (06 Credit Hrs.) in the first two semesters.
Candidates having ‘A’ level or Deeni Asnad or foreign qualification are required to provide equivalence certificate from IBCC or HEC, Islamabad as applicable.
